This is a really spacious condo, exactly as advertised and sometimes it's great to have generous inside parking - as is the case here. The location is highly walkable to the lake, downtown, anywhere. The space was new and very clean, probably the cleanest property we have stayed at. 6 adults (2 per bed) were able to stay for 5 days comfortably, although the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were a bit tight. The master suite was very large, and the ensuite bathroom was nice as well. This place made a great homebase for all the activities the area had to offer, and we would recommend it to anyone.

Danielle was amazing and most comfortable to work with. This cabin was ultimately the most “self contained” cabin I have ever rented! Our entire family prepared all our meals on site and everything was there and more; crockpot, waffle maker, ziploc bags and tupperware containers and more! Cabin felt like home! The RV is immacutely clean! My adult children loved this place! The seating in back is phenomenal! We all had fun with the outside shower! It was cool! Hot tub was great too! Danielle, thank you! Beds are comfortable and the backyard is large and amazing. We were smoked in due to the surrounding wildfires and the home had lots of games, 2 living rooms and toys for the kids. We enjoyed our stay at Danielle’s place. Lovely home, very clean and well looked after. Awesome garage, husband loved the big space to dry everything out and get organized for the next day trip. Well stocked kitchen with lots of amenities. Tons of counter space and room to cook. Grocery store is right next to the home which made for easy trips. Quite a few stairs going up to the home so might be tricky if you have reduced mobility. The home is next door to a restaurant/bar, however most nights were quiet. The train can be loud as they whistle with every trip through town, but this is all over town. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were awesome. Kids had their own room and bathroom which was super nice. Thanks Danielle!

Buena Vista is a lovely location with cozy cabins and their decks about a metre apart overlooking Mara lake. The neighbours were very near but quiet and considerate. The lake was warm and the rocky beach and dock area felt private and well cared for. We had a very nice time.

We stayed at Danielle's place for a Shuswap golf trip and had a BLAST. This place was amazing and perfectly fit our weekend needs. We had 10 guys on the golf trip, but easily could have slept a couple more if needed. -Location was great, only a 2 minute walk to lovely sand beaches! -Empty garage was lovely to store all of our golf clubs. -Backyard was great for dinners, hot tub, and small games. We would have loved to have campfires at the firepit (if there were no fire bans). -We used the kayaks and lifejackets to have a great time at the public beaches that surround the entire community. -Large kitchen was awesome for meal prep! It was nice to have all the bedrooms upstairs, with the entertainment on the main level, that way those who wanted to head to bed early could just go upstairs and not be disturbed by people staying up later. We return yearly to the Shuswap for our July golf trip and will definitely be looking for a return to this spot! Thanks Danielle! :)

The property was great for our family vacation. The living spaces were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with appliances/utensils and the fridge was large enough to fit all of our food for a week. The beds were comfortable and clean. The only limitation would be no closet space. While the listing notes AC, it is quite small unit for the sq ft of the house and gets quite hot by the end of the day/night. There are several fans but sometimes that was not enough. The location was amazing, at the end of a quiet road and right across from the beach. The beach was not busy at all and sometimes we had the whole thing to ourselves!

The place was clean and nice and cool when we walked in. There were beach chairs, lots of beach towels, the bbq worked great, the beds were comfortable and the A/C was a great escape from the heat. All sorts of mini beaches around Swansea point, the beach close to the property is quite rocky so water shoes are a good idea (they sell them at the dollar store in Sicamous. There is a provincial park with a beautiful sandy beach just a quick drive down the highway

Served our purpose well. The bath towels are incredibly thick and super luxurious. You only get one towel per person though. So if you are a lady or teenager with long hair, bring your own towel for that or steal your husbands. My only major complaint is the train and how frequent it goes bye. Some days it was every hour and some nights we didn’t sleep at all because of this. There is ear plugs in a kitchen drawer and now we know why. Also, the home is 13 minutes out of the town of Salmon Arm. No corner stores close by so come prepared. The host Danielle was excellent to deal with and responded to me instantly anytime I had a question.

Danielle’s place was great for amazing. It’s right across from a sandy beach, and had a great back yard for the kids to play in. This is a great house for kids. I’ve never been at an air bnb that had such a well stocked kitchen, especially when it comes to kids plates/cups/bowls. Great BBQ. Clean rooms. Only downside was the upper floor rooms rooms got really warm at night, but there were fans in every bed room. The boiler depressurized the last night so we didn’t have hot water the last night, but we never mentioned it to Danielle until the next morning and it really wasn’t a big deal. Danielle was very kind and let me check in early on our arrival day since we were staying in a hotel the night before and my little kids were able to nap before the rest of my sibling arrived with all their kids. We will definitely be coming back!

Our stay at Denali was fantastic for our work getaway of nine, with room to spare. One of the things we loved the most was how spacious it was, so no one ever felt they had to squeeze past anyone. Even though we brought our own games and fun, there were books and games galore and my personal favourite was the full-size billiard table, which got quite a lot of play all weekend long. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the cooking utensils, glassware and bowls we required and a great utility room for storage of coolers, recyclables, etc. Our team loved the beach just down the road. My only suggestion would be that although it is a very pleasant, short walk, it’s more like an 8-10 minute walk, in case you’re taking floaties and coolers with you. In short, this place had all our requirements ticked and we would definitely recommend it for other groups wanting an unpretentious, yet clean and updated living space for family or friends.

Right from the beginning, the service was fantastic and everything was set up perfectly for us when we arrived. The house layout was large enough for everyone to sleep comfortably and have their own space. The beach was a two minute walk away and they had paddle boards and kayaks for our convenience. We had a lovely stay at the Uncorked Cottage during our last visit to Sicamous. Clean, modern, comfortable, and spacious for our needs! All the appliances worked as they should. We had 5 stay for a sled trip and easily dried our gear and got ready for the day without issue. Our review is lacking 1 star due to the limited parking (we had a 20' trailer) and could not park in our resort. However, the customer service was excellent and accommodated our needs easily! We had neighboring friends so did not utilize the hot tub that is available at our resort. We highly recommend the Uncorked Cottage!

We loved our stay at this cabin. Location- conveniently near (10 min drive to) Sicamous with all necessities, and within a five minute walk to many small community beaches. The neighborhood is very cute and quaint too. Cabin- clean and has all your basic necessities - but not a coffee grinder! The awesome BBQ made up for that though. We used it every night. The back yard is fully enclosed for little kids, and there's a cute little front yard for playing/enjoying the late afternoon sun too. The beds are pretty comfy, and the rooms are nicely separated. We were hoping there might be some more toys there for kids (always a bonus) but there weren't many. We met the neighbors and they were super friendly and let us pick some plums off of their tree! Check in and everything with Danielle was super smooth and easy. Would highly recommend this spot.

This place is exactly what we were looking for. A truly amazing place on a lake yet quiet and peaceful. The inside had everything that was promised. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was a good variety of games. The outside bar was a great addition and the Apple Tree in the backyard was a bonus.

We stayed at the Sweet Spot for a family reunion and it was just what we needed. Lots of space, outdoor area is excellent and was close to the water. Home is well equipped with all you would need for some time at the lake!

This is a very spacious, clean, enjoyable space walking distance to the beach, restaurants, alcohol, cannabis, grocery store. Super convenient! The master bedroom is huge with a very comfortable king sized bed, ensuite, walk in closet. The second bedroom has 3 double beds which would work well for kids or a group of friends. The room is large so there was still enough space for us to set up our sons pack n play. The balcony overlooks the parking lot and back of the grocery store but you can still see a good chunk of the sky and mountains and there are two comfortable seats. There was a bbq but we didn't use it during our stay. We had access to Disney plus, Netflix, Spotify and a whole range of dvds and games which was nice since we had rainy weather during our stay. Our only feedback would be the harsh white lighting, a warmer lighting would make this place a lot more comfortable. Access is via a steep set of stairs so if you have mobility issues this may be a concern.

We've had such a great time at Danielle's place. The house is located less than 2 minutes away from a beautiful beach at Mara Lake. Beside the lake you can find plenty of activities nearby. The house itself is fully equipped and provides plenty of space. We will definitely come back!

Amazing location close to beach and all amenities in town. Really comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. The closet in the master is huge and we setup our baby’s playpen in there so it was like he had his own little room. Huge garage for everything, we parked our truck inside and stored our motorcycle and kids bikes. Garage also has a built in drying rack to hang up equipment. Great communication from host! Would stay here again next time we are in town!!

We loved our two week stay! Comfy beds, kitchen well stocked, access to a washer and dryer, super private, and AC that nicely cooled everywhere, great proximity to the beach. One small issue for us was how loud the traffic was on the deck. The deck over looks the lake which is stunning, but it is also right beside the main road which you hear continually when your on the deck. Honestly I would stay again in a heartbeat still! Too many pluses to outweigh that one small thing!

The cabin is accurately described in the listing - its clean and well maintained and the kitchen is extremely well stocked - had everything and more than we needed. Access to the lake is within the resort....try to bring water shoes as it is a bit rocky. I had 3 kids under the age of 12 and 2 teenagers....everybody had fun at the waterslide. The kayaks were a bonus (there are some adult emergency floatation jackets at the cabin but I would recommend bringing your own lifejackets) Overall a great place to be in the summer....

This house has a kitchen stocked better than our own!! The backyard was a haven for our little ones and even the big kids!! There were so many games and puzzles and toys for both young and old. The location to the lake was amazing although the water was quite high. The beds were comfy and they had more towels than bed bath and beyond! Some things to note: The mosquitos are hungry this time of year! Bring all the things; bug spray, repellents, citronella and after bite! Fans were supplied but it was a bit toasty as the AC is for the main living area only. No condiments were supplied (ketchup, mustard, mayo etc), but there were spices, some other rentals have more basic essentials. They have a Keurig but no pods. , so bring most things you need! We ran out of cooking oil, toilet paper and paper towel. The store was close by so just letting future renters know! We had an amazing little family reunion and truly enjoyed your home!!! Thank you for a wonderful get-away!

At the end of June 2022, the beaches on the Shuswap were all flooded, which seems to happen every year at that time. If you’re a boater, well, there was more water. That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This is a comfortable property with a huge deck. It’s very private. This is our second time here and we hope to come again.

Drying rack in the garage let's you keep all of your gear down there and it's dry and ready for your next adventure! Great place for a family group! Well outfitted for children especially. Not that you should take my word for it, we didn't have any kids along lol. But it was noticeably different than any other bnb I've stayed in. i would definitely suggest it if you have lots of kids in your group. We enjoyed the fire pit and the fuseball table. And the kitchen was a dream! But if you've never slept in a place with hot water radiators, don't let it spook you out, the noises are totally normal.

Everything we expected and more. Dream kitchen, pretty views. Only real downside was the downstairs rug and seeing as we were renting at the end of the summer season it had a lot of stains, so probably to be expected. But we saw lots of boxes of laminate in the closet, so hopefully that rug will be gone next summer.

My family; husband and two girls, stayed at the Wolfe's Den the last week of August, 2021. It suited us really well for what we were looking for - a clean place to rest our heads, full amenities and a walk to the beach. Side note, you're in walking distance to the Sicamous Creek Trail as well so we did a little hike there. We were out for most of the day and I would suggest it's a good place for essentials versus a place to center your vacation around as it was a pretty tight space for our family with one bathroom and not a lot of storage. The pull out couch was doable for our young girls but for anyone heavier, you're going to feel the springs. There was a blow up mattress however and Danielle was very accommodating to make sure we had the pump and everything else we could want. If we ran out of anything she was at the door in 5 minutes or responded via email. The little patio was perfectly sunny in the morning for my coffee, and quiet for a few work calls I had to take. Kitchen was spotless with all the utensils and cooking pieces we needed. Overall 5/5 for what we were looking for. Thank you!

Everything about this place was great! Especially the outdoor space. The deck is beautiful, there’s a little bit of private sand with some chairs and a fire pit. And you can watch the kids on the beach from the house. Inside hade everything you need for a holiday, tastefully decorated.

We just spend 5 nights at this awesome cabin at Swansea Point. The cabin itself is spotless and well stocked (including games and toiletries). Beds and bedding were super comfortable and everyone had great sleeps. There are many outdoor spaces with nice furniture so everyone can spread out! The hot tub was fantastic, as were the paddle boards and kayak. It is a short 1-2 min walk to the beautiful beach. Danielle is really a top notch host who is extremely responsive. Our stay coincided with the Sicamous wildfire, and even with the smoke and some disruptions in services we really enjoyed our stay. I will also add that Danielle was very reasonable when it came to possible last minute cancelation/refunds related to the fire and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. We would love to come back again and would definitely recommend this cabin.

We had a great experience at this property. The house was great and had everything we needed for our week stay. It was within walking distance to the a couple public beaches and minutes drives to local restaurants and stores. The AC was amazing in the living room and bedroom loft. The only thing that was not great, was the hide a bed which was not comfortable at all, we were glad to have brought an air mattress for us to sleep on. The bed upstairs was very comfortable though!

This is an excellent property for a family or group of friends looking for a place close to the water. Property is clean and well maintained with everything you need, plus a few extra goodies (the SUP boards and 2x4 Jenga were a huge hit with us!). The central AC was great given how hot it was. The house is in a great location on Mara Lake, with great views. It is one of the nicer houses in the resort, which has a variation of accommodations on the property. The house was spacious for our weekend getaway with 4 adults and 1 child. The patios are the best feature on this house, with direct beach access from the back yard. If you have never experienced Mara Lake or Sicamous this is your chance to finally do it. As it is the most beautiful place you can imagine year round. We were there in October and the weather was amazing. Spent 3 nights with our long time friends enjoying the home we stayed in. The time was spent making dinners, enjoying wine and playing games. Danielle's place is awesome! Such a spacious house and can comfortably hold a decent group, both outside and inside. Fantastic location (no more than a 2-min walk to the beach), and Danielle was very quick to respond to any questions - she also sent a very comprehensive welcome e-email the day before, with lots of helpful information! What's great about this place is that even though the house can sleep 8, you also have the option to book the adjoining suite which sleeps another 2 people. Wonderful amenities (BBQ, private hot tub, kayak, paddleboards, fire pit, books/children's toys to name but a few) as well. We will absolutely be back!

My Aunt and I stayed at the Wolfe’s Den for 2 nights. Carriage house is beautifully decorated. Short walk to a beautiful sandy beach. Previous comments I read about the comfort of the beds I do not agree with. The loft bed I found to be extremely comfortable and the hide a bed .. well it’s a hide a bed ... they’re all alike. Close amenities for anything you might need. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes except no baking pans for the oven ... we brought tin foil so we got creative and it ended up not being a big issue. I would definitely recommended this property and I will be renting it again.

This cabin was really nice and the host was extremely accommodating. The hot tub jets weren't working still, but Danielle kept us up to date on it and also we were still able to chill in the hot tub as long as we didn't turn the jets on, so it was still relaxing. The cleaner also came by to check on us as well because she wanted to make sure the hot tub was working fine for us. I would definitely rent this cabin again. It was so close to the beach and there were 2 paddle boards and a kayak that we could use. Also the pit fire was awesome too! It was super quiet in the neighborhood and so relaxing.

This was a great spot. Perfect location for beaching and golfing. The house was a perfect fit for 7 ladies ... each person had a bed. The Kitchen was amazing... well equipped and room for lots of cooks in the kitchen. Yard is private and great for outdoor games. Loved all of it!

We weren’t sure what to expect for taking vacation at the end of September, but it was perfect. The property was exactly as advertised and Danielle was amazing. She answered any questions we had and was very accommodating. We found the property perfect for our kids, as it was close to the water and lots of room for the kids to ride their bikes. The cabin was well stocked with games and other things to do. We never felt bored or without something to do. The fire pit area was the perfect place to unwind and roast marshmallows. The hot tub was equally as relaxing and a perfect place to stargaze. All in all we loved it here. We would love to return next year. :)

Loved the property, it is on a corner lot with lots of privacy. There was also plenty of room to park our truck and boat in the driveway. The balcony is very large, perfect for spending evenings on. We had a great vacation at this property. We travel with our grown children and all of your dogs. The huge deck was great for all of us to hang out with out dogs, and the neighborhood was quiet and great for walking. The property was very clean which was a important during the COVID 19 pandemic. We always have a wonderful time here. Clean, quiet, walking distance to the beach. There are lots of nice restaurants near by if you don't feel like cooking. If you do feel like cooking there's everything you need in the kitchen to do so and a bbq. We had a very relaxing stay and we will be booking again with Danielle.

The sweet spot is EXACTLY that. This amazing home is steps from the beach. Huge fully fenced yard, and a gorgeous fire pit. This home is kept immaculately clean!! And they have extra towels, bedding, linens!! The kitchen has every item you’d likely have at home, tons of plates, pots, cups etc... we cannot say enough great things about this place!! The layout is beyond perfect for a large family (there’s 9 of us!!). Tons of games, toys, and other entertainment for the kids. You will NOT be disappointed by this place!

Awesome property. Love the renovations made since last year. Ample space.
Property was great. We loved having the farm house table to enjoy our meals around together. Kitchen was stocked beyond expectations. The renovations since last year made the stay so much better with the added square footage/living space. Having 2 bathrooms with showers was an added bonus for 5 of us. Would definitely sleep 7 ppl very comfortably. A great selection of games for evening entertainment kept us entertained. Parking was easy even with 2 units. Would definitely not hesitate to book this property again and would suggest it to anyone looking in this area.
