This Charming Lakeside Cottage is nestled in the cozy community of Swansea Point, Mara Lake, and is only steps away from the public beach and boat launch. Upon entry you are instantly welcomed by a bright open living space, kitchen and dining area, and it is beautifully decorated throughout with warm lakeside décor. You will definitely enjoy the secluded outdoor deck, where guests can enjoy lounging, dining, and cooking up a meal on the BBQ.
Curl up on the couch in front of the fireplace. Grab a book, Magazine, play a board game or watch a movie. This is all provided for our Guests' entertainment while you are on your vacation. This cottage is truly a home away from home!
Our Lakeside Bedroom offers a queen bed and large window overlooking the front yard.
The Mountain Side Bedroom offers bunk beds with double on the bottom and single on top, and features an on suite half bath. The Kitchen has everything needed to prepare any meal. Laundry? No problem, we have you covered there as well!

Oasis at Mara Lake

This cozy cabin is located in Buena Vista Resort, just a short drive to the heart of Sicamous with quick access to grocery, restaurants, bars & shops.
The Resort offers plenty of amenities for guests to enjoy; the vast beach front; boat slip in the private marina; large greenspace with playground, tennis courts, basketball net and horse shoes. There is even a shared fire pit down on the beach. This Resort has thought of everything to entertain you and your family while on vacation!
The Space
This cozy cabin boasts a large deck, nestled in and amongst the tall towering trees, with a view of the beach and lake, creating a truly cozy cabin feel. And, just a short stroll down to the beach. Enjoy cooking on the grill and dining outside!
The cabin comfortably sleeps 6 guests. The kitchen is fully stocked, all linens are provided; 24" TV with Chromecast; XBox w/ games as well as board games.
This property also offers 2 kayaks, life jackets, beach chairs and 2 tennis rackets for guest use.
Guest Access
Guests can walk to main street restaurants and bars within 20 minutes. Or just a short 4 min drive.
Other Things to Note
There is NO in-cabin laundry. Shared Laundry facilities are located on site. Guests must sign-in to reserve a time. There is a $5 fee for 3 hour usage.
Boats & Trailers
Boats and personal watercraft are to be launched and removed by the onsite property manger of the resort only. This will be done for a charge of $15 each for entry and removal. Moorage costs are $18 per day and $10 for personal watercraft and payable to the onsite property manager.
Maximum boat length permitted is 23ft, excluding pulpit, swim deck and motor.

The Sweet Spot

Welcome to the Sweet Spot!
The Sweet Spot is located directly in front of the sandy public beach. It has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 13 people and has two full bathrooms. The massive kitchen with double wide fridge, beer/wine cooler and sit up bar is sure to impress. It is fully stocked with all the necessities required to cook any meal while on vacation.
The Sweet Spot has two living rooms and an entertainment room with Foosball and poker tables. You can keep the whole family entertained!
The Outdoor Score
The large fully fenced back yard is private, has a play house and swing set for the kiddos.
The covered outdoor patio overlooks the lake and public beach. The front yard overlooking the beach and lake have a fire pit for guest use. Note: Guests must bring their own wood.

This cottage is surrounded by mature trees on a spacious private lot, with BBQ, huge fire pit, outdoor dinning area, hot tub and outdoor shower, all situated within walking distance to beautiful beaches and a boat launch!
The cabin boasts two cozy bedrooms accommodating up to 6 guests, while an additional trailer on-site for an additional 4 guests, for 10 guests total.
The Inside Scoop
It’s a cozy rustic escape with vaulted cedar ceilings with sky light windows allowing for natural light.
The master bedroom offers a queen bed with wardrobe.
Second bedroom offers queen over queen bunk beds.
The kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals for you and your family.
Trailer Details
Guests may use the trailer to sleep an additional 4 guests.
The master bedroom offers a queen bed and guests can choose to sleep on the pull out couch or bunk beds.
There is a toilet and basin. We decommissioned the shower. However, guests may use the outdoor shower instead!
NOTE: Trailer is winterized in cold months and unavailable. Only 6 guests during winter!!!

The space
Experience the ultimate comfort in the master bedroom on the luxurious king sized bed and a 50" smart TV mounted on the wall, providing you a private retreat to unwind and enjoy, if the kiddos or friends are sleeping on the pull out couch.
The pull out couch is as big as a king size bed and super comfy! Use even when you want to enjoy watching movies!
Step outside onto the cozy patio with ample seating to sip your morning coffee while enjoying the scenic mountain views!
Other things to note:
Boat trailer parking must be secured with local storage facilities.
The home owner is a travelling nurse and has a separate entrance and own space. She does not have access to the unit. However, her space has a sliding door to the balcony. We have the balcony divided off so that it is private and she will not be using the balcony.
She may from time to time be in her own unit.
